MySQL(R) zone

I work frequently with "The worlds' most popular open-source database" MySQL(R), either "directly" via JavaTM's JDBC or via the object-relational mapping system Java Data Objects (JDO)TM. I can be consulted on a wide range of SQL-based projects and can organise cost-effective SQL-driven web site hosting. That said, I much prefer to work with the object-based JDO Query Language (JDOQL) these days than SQL !

For example, I developed a component modelling, tracking, and management system for the MOST radiotelescope that was powered by MySQL(R):
