JUNG example application: a semantic network with clustering

The example shows a semantic network of proximity associations derived from the online Wikipedia.

"Clusterings" of word nodes reflect the frequency of mutual occurrences of words within scanned windows of sentences in the WikiPedia. In the case shown clusterings around the words "paper" or "papers" are given. The Java Universal Network/Graph Framework graph application from which this snapshot is taken is heuristic and dynamic, and can be included as an applet in web applications (not shown).
