A quadrilateral is a polygon with four 'sides' or edges and four vertices or corners.

This diagram illustrates the high degree of reuse and modelling power of UML™ Parsing Analysis, as the combined logical contexts drive the model towards convergence (according to the consistency of the source text).

Note the Dependency from the analysis operation ?simple() to a logical context «wrapper» Component mentioning the definition of 'simple' polygons. This is to be read as "parsed from", i.e., the analysis Operation element has (at least) this logical context supplier to thank for its existence.

Notes

Note parameter substition n=4 from Quadrilateral to Polygon.

Note also the use of the composite structure compartment to illustrate the relationships between properties.
