  • [ASSERTION, TIP]{STRICT} When dealing with required Interfaces you must use Usage (not Dependency) and it has dedicated "socket" notation.
  • [TIP]{STRONG} In general, the SysML DirectedFeature approach is more powerful and the notation is cleaner than UML provided/required Interfaces. Prefer SysML DirectedFeatures unless you have a really good reason to use Interfaces!
  • [CAPABILITY, DISPLAY, TOOL] The MagicDraw/Cameo feature "Enable Parts Compartments" really means "Enable SysML Compartments"
  • [CAPABILITY, DISPLAY, TOOL] MagicDraw/Cameo: the (not so well named) "Enable Parts Compartment" feature on Ports is highly recommended and can make diagrams much easier to read.
