This snapshot shows the tree of InstanceSpecifications in MagicDraw or Cameo that map to the "initial values" (a.k.a. context-specific values) in the IBD Figure D.41.

MagicDraw/Cameo: For context-specific values you do not have to deal with fiddly instances, you can edit the values directly in the 'initialValues' compartment! Enable 'Tools > Define Context Specific Initial Value' on a part whose Block has a value.

In other words, you don't have to worry about tediously managing the instance tree shown here, the tool does that all for you
