The model elements elicited from the snippets about mesons can then be collated along with concise versions of the snippets in Package Diagrams and focus BDDs:

Before we can have any more detail on some concrete baryons and mesons we'll need finally to dive into quarks a bit. We'll also be leaving the mesons topic for now because it's almost time to model a Neutron and Proton.

All mesons are unstable, with the longest-lived lasting for only a few hundredths of a microsecond.
