This 6 minute video is recommended preparation for all attendees of Webel SysMLv1 workshop seminars and Educational Consultancy web sessions.

The video commences at the state of a project after following your Webel Quick Start Guide for Cameo and MagicDraw PDF slide kit, with an abstract ColouredThing block, although you'll have to additionally create a ColouredKind SysMLv1 enumeration and a color: ColourKind without a default, as shown in your Balls & Boxes worked sample problem PDF slides for Blocks & Values in SysMLv1.

Please practice creating extending SysMLv1 Blocks with redefining properties until you are fluent with the technique in the Magic Cyber-Systems Engineer ® (Cameo Systems Modeler®) tool. This is a crucial aspect of the SysMLv1 language that is used in modelling of real world systems and for capturing system configurations and variations.

You'll also need to command this technique to work through the Webel Balls & Boxes worked sample problem for learning the fundamentals of SysMLv1 Blocks & Values.

A similar trick works in Cameo for Properties on Association ends:
