Please email or phone Webel IT Australia on +61 405 029 008 to enquire about our Jakarta EE enterprise web application and Java development services!

Please note that Oracle's Enterprise Java (Java EE) technology has now officially been migrated to the Eclipse Foundation project Jakarta EE:

Yes, Webel IT Australia still offers Enterprise Java (now Jakarta EE) web application development services, but may advise that combine Jakarta EE microservices (whilst keeping your existing beans business logic) with an alternative frontend:

We recommend the Payara web application server for Jakarta EE, which also has a Payara Micro distribution with MicroProfile support for REST APIs and Open API.

We recommend the high speed, JPA-compliant, ObjectDB pure-object database for Jakarta EE web applications.

We employ the massively time-saving JRebel hot-reloader.

Webel IT Australia also still offers rich interactive web interface development with  Jakarta Faces – formerly  JavaServer Faces (JSF) – using PrimeFaces and OmniFaces (although if you are using Jakarta EE for backend microservices APIs you may with to use another more modern frontend technology such as Angular, React, or Node).

To get a feel for the breadth and depth of the Jakarta EE ecosystem visit the Jakarta EE specifications overview.

Just good ol' Java, too

We also offer Java™ development for general tasks, with over 20 years experience using all aspects of Java, including for desktop GUI creation and for object-relational and pure-object JPA databases.

Of course, when we use Java, we always use it in combination with Design Patterns and robust architectural strategies supported by model-based software engineering using MagicDraw® UML (aka Magic Software Architect) – itself one of the most successful Java desktop applications ever created.
